“Just Kicking It” will feature NEW shoes that I’ve recently purchased. I adore shoes and clothes. I’m a little psycho about them if you asked my husband.
I usually try them on in the store and walk around them for a while. But my real test is wear them to Target or one of my favorite stores. If my feet still feel pretty good after that then the shoes are good! I definitely do have shoes that are just meant to wear to the car, dinner, and back home.
Shoes and clothes are orgasmic. I can just go into a shoe store and try on shoes for hours. I would probably leave flat broke but who cares. If you have a cute pair shoes you definitely need a nice top and a pair of bottoms that fit you perfectly. Shoes and clothes go hand in hand without the other your outfit isn’t an official outfit. Ok, I’m going to stop rambling below are three pairs of shoes that I recently added to my catalog. I’m always open for comments.

Chick With A Mean Shoe Game - Halle Berry

Sneaker Freaker online magazine has posted a wonderful write up for Female Sneaker Heads. This wonderful article was written by Complex magazine’s own Christine Su. Read an excerpt below:
“I love sneakers and for the past 15 years (yes I am that old), i’ve been engrossed and consumed by them, both personally and professionally. i love it when a guy tells me, “nice kicks, shorty,” or i get asked “so you’re into copping fresh kicks?” yes, this Shorty is very into it! I can still remember my first pair of Airmax 180s and my first Jordans, which I had to buy in a boy’s size of course. Nothing beats the adventure of a fresh pair and I’m still able to tell you how and exactly why, I copped those shoes.”
“We are female sneaker heads and believe it or not, we will drop $300 on them, just like our male counterparts. Before the age of the internet and online shops, we too were hunting and buying kicks. I have fond memories of sneaker shopping trips to Hong Kong’s Mong Kok district, or having to hit up all of the Offspring and Size shops in Europe, even trips across the States looking for limited editions in the smallest sizes. You see, we female sneaker heads are not that much different from the men – we shop, we hunt and we want the same fresh models and colorways as the men.”

Nike celebrates the opening of the NIKEiD Studio in New York with a star studded cast! The new studio gives consumers a key to unlock the world of design, you won’t want to miss this!
What: Nike will celebrate the opening of its first NIKEID Studio at Niketown in New York City, with consumers and a number of special guests. The studio gives consumers a hands-on design experience and the power to create and personalize footwear, apparel and equipment for themselves or their friends.
Consumers will be able to schedule their own one-on-one design session, listen to music from DJ Lexi, grab some ice cream provided by Cold Stone Creamery and shop.
Why: The NIKEiD Studio is a consumer destination for designing, personalizing and customizing Nike performance and sport culture footwear, apparel and equipment, and marks the beginning of a design community, both virtual and hands-on, for consumers to share ideas, concepts and a passion for NIKEiD.

Mi Gente Presents: Halloween 1990 Party
Mi Gente Clothing is back at it again! Just a few days before Halloween, Mi Gente is hosting another one of their sneaker battle’s but with a 90’s twist. This “get-up” party will involve a costume element where the battle will be about who has the best 1990’s outfit and kicks.
Music will be taken care of by Keen One, Safe Stadick, and Tom Larock and the night will be hosted by Fili Mike. Live art will be compliments of Siner DME. The place to be is PS14 on Friday, October 26th at 8PM.
